I currently subscribe to TIME magazine, but I think my year-long subscription will be running out soon, which I am none too sad about, since there is at least one thing in every issue which makes me think, "wtf?! why do I even receive and read this crap?!"
So, I don't really want to renew it, but I really enjoy receiving in the mail a weekly periodical which is not on my computer (and therefore I can read while being in more comfortable positions? There is just something about magazines and newspapers which will never be replaced by the internet...)
And therefore, I ask you, my dear readers, if there is any other magazines which you might suggest I subscribe to. I already receive Sacred Music and Adoremus, both of which I love, but, I am looking for something a little, um, broader in spectrum...
I'd rather have something weekly, but I suppose monthly is ok. Any suggestions?

The American Organist. Also, there's a British magazine I get, "Choir and Organ" which is quite good. Both of these are extremely informative and at least have nice pictures to look at :P

I respect you for putting more time and resources into staying current with national and world affairs. The extent of my efforts in that regard is Google News and NBC Today in the gym (one my neck un-sprains itself....uugh..)
hmm...the American Organist.
Well, I was kind of thinking of something that would expand my horizons even a little bit more...
and besides, I really do not want to become a member of the AGO for reasons which would quite deserve their entire own post, and I'm not sure if it would appropriate to post for the public, (email me if you're dying to know...)
I'm partial to "The Economist". It takes me almost the whole week to read (it's that in depth on world news), and since it's published/written in the UK, you can get news and commentary on happenings in the US without all the typical bending and spinning so common in US publications. TIME with more class.
I also receive Wine Spectator, Cigar Aficionado, Entertainment Weekly, The Atlantic Monthly.

The Latin Mass Magazine is an excellent read, although only issued quarterly. It's broader in scope than might be indicated by the title. The subtitle is A Journal of Catholic Culture. There are always liturgical articles of course, but also history, family, et al. Give it a try!
I like First Things... This Rock... and Envoy. Check them out.
